The Nevada Health Center's MammoVan will be in Mesquite Sept. 20, to perform free or low-cost mammograms for women in the local area.
The service will be available from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Mesquite Cancer HELP Society, 150 N. Yucca St, Mesquite.
Those wanting the service should bring proof of income, proof of residency, and proof of dependents. Based on that, a determination will be made on whether to charge for the service or provide it free of charge. The majority of women qualify for free mammograms.
Every woman, age 40 and over, needs a mammogram
every year. Early detection of breast cancer saves lives.
