WCFA Pet Adoption Saturday
Posting Date: 08/17/2012

Linda Muse, WCFA

Russell, a six pound Jack Russell-Chihuahua mix, about two years old is We Care for Animals’ featured pet. A bit shy initially, he becomes your best friend in a very short time. He has gained confidence in foster care and is a neat little dog. He is working on his house training and learning basic commands. Russell walks well on leash and is fine with cats and dogs.

Current feline special: Adopt two cats for one adoption fee which covers spay/neuter and current vaccines. Two felines will bring joy and entertainment to your household.

Our next pet adoption is Saturday, August 18, 9:30-1 pm at 150 N. Yucca, Suite 1. WCFA's adoptable pets are in foster homes. Between adoption events, arrangements can be made to meet a pet you may be interested in adopting.

Other Adoptable Pets:

Felines:

Troy and Trevor are two handsome 19 week old kittens. They have medium length black fur, with some sprinkles of white hairs. Troy has a little patch of white on his chest. They are very social and playful and would make wonderful additions to your family. Although we often list littermates together, Trevor and Troy do not have to be adopted together. With our special adoption fee, however, wouldn't it be wonderful for these two happy boys to find their forever home together?

Carmel and Sonny are two attractive orange felines, 18 weeks old. They will be spayed/neutered next week.

Jumbi, a beautiful black and sweet kitten is about 15 weeks old. All of her littermates have been adopted. Could it be because Jumbi is a black kitten that she is still here? Get lucky, adopt a black kitten! She will thank you forever.

Kittens Gibson, Amaretto, Scotch, Soda and Stormy are 13 weeks, playful and sweet.

Handsome Bandit and Smokey, two adorable 11 week old grey kittens.

Queen Latifah, a beautiful trio color gray calico young adult. She is mild mannered, sweet and easy to handle.

Patchouli, a pretty tri color calico, young adult. She is sweet and shy and easy to handle.

Canines:

Leonardo, a handsome Chihuahua who needs someone who would enjoy taking him on daily walks and provide him with affection and a great home. He is about 3 ½ years old, house trained, good with cats and dogs, knows some basic commands. He’s a cute, well-rounded, little guy.

Sparticus, a Boxer-Great Dane mix. He has lots of energy and would love to be with an active family. He is good with kids and other dogs. Sparticus is a big guy who would like a nice yard with at least a six foot fence so he can run and enjoy his new forever home. He is neutered and current on shots.

Rusty is an 18 months old terrier mix who weighs 17 lbs. He is playful and lovable. Rusty is house trained, walks well on leash, enjoys walks and other dogs.
