Teaming the young with the old, representatives of Mesquite's fledgling Virgin Valley Little League met with staff members from the Senior Center, Tuesday, July 10, to share in the proceeds from the Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast fundraiser sponsored by both organizations.

Dan Wright, representing the Little League, presented a check for $100 to Griseyda Belalcazar from the Senior Center. The Fundraiser was held at the Center with members of the Little League doing most of the cooking. Also on hand for event was Geno Withelder from the Little League and Nicholas Montoya from the Mesquite Leisure Services Division.

"Thank you for hosting the Pancake Breakfast," Wright said to Belalcazar. She explained that the money would help offset the cost of a Bingo night at the Senior Center in August. "Bingo it is," quipped Wright.
