The following incidents were taken, in part, from the Mesquite Police Department blotter for the week of June 17-23, 2012. All persons involved in these incidents are presumed innocent until proven guilty by the court.
6/17/12 Theft: A citizen on Vineyard Lane wanted to report the theft of her prescription drugs.
6/17/12 Suspicious circumstances: Officers responded to a report of a possible suicidal person. They contacted an intoxicated female who refused medical attention and said she was not suicidal. She was left in the care of a male companion.
6/17/12 Theft: Police responded to the Virgin River Casino regarding a woman who had stolen several items. She was arrested and the items were recovered.
6/18/12 Welfare check: Officers conducted a welfare check at a local residence and subsequently arrested three people for use of inhalants. Child Protective Services was also contacted regarding living conditions.
6/19/12 Suspicious person: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person checking the front doors of various residences on Sawgrass Way. A suspect was identified and the incident is under investigation.
6/19/12 Missing Person: Police responded to a report of a missing elderly female who was later found inside her residence.
6/19/12 Restraining Order violation: Officers responded to a local store regarding a report by a female of a temporary protection order violation. The male subject was located and arrested.
6/19/12 Alarm: Police responded to an alarm on Jessica Drive.
6/20/12 Suspicious circumstance: Police responded to the Virgin River Casino regarding a female juvenile who was threatening suicide. The juveniles mother transported her to a hospital in Las Vegas for mental evaluation.
6/20/12 Burglary: Officers responded to a residential burglary on Harbour Drive in which a firearm was taken
6/20/12 Attempted Burglary: Police took a report of an attempted residential burglary on Muscat Drive.
6/20/12 Suspicious circumstance: Officers responded to a residence on Madrigal Drive regarding a suspicious circumstance.
6/20/12 Theft: Police took another theft report from a travel trailer on Auto Mall Circle at the Ford dealer.
6/20/12 Burglary: Police responded to a burglary on Concord Drive at a residence.
6/20/12 Dead Body: Police responded to a dead body on Pinehurst Drive. The Clark County Coroner was notified.
6/21/12 Mental Person: Police assisted a mentally ill person who was later transported to the hospital.
6/21/12 Theft from vehicle: Officers responded to a residence on Concord Drive regarding a theft from a vehicle.
6/22/12 Alarm: Police responded to an alarm on W. Hafen Lane at 2:50 a.m.
6/23/12 Burglary: Officers took a report of a residential burglary on Sea Pines Street.
