Mesquite Memorial Day Services Announced

William Davis Wieber
Posting Date: 06/19/2012

William Wieber, age 77, of Mesquite, Nevada, son of Richard John Wieber and Mary Helen Townsend, Born January 6, 1935, died June 17, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pearl Anne (Willoughby), a brother, Robert (Nancy), two sisters Grace Barnes (Albert, deceased) of Schenectady New York, and Louise Watkins (George, Deceased) of St. George, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.

William (Bill) resided most of his life in Schenectady, New York and was employed for 38 years by Grand Union Markets, Waterford, New York. He retired in 1995 at the age of 60 and moved from New York to Mesquite, Nevada in 1996. He was known by family and friends as very personable with a ready sense of humor. He was also generous in sharing his talent for

working in small wooden crafts.

In reviewing his life, he expressed no regrets and commented that he had much happiness and satisfaction; had traveled and accomplished a lot of things he would have never thought possible as a young man. As he experienced the suffering associated with his final illness, he never complained, but instead, comforted his wife by stating, "there are a lot of people worse off than I am". He and his wife express gratitude for the support and services of Mesa View Hospice, and Dr. Habib, of Habib Medical, Mesquite, Nevada.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary, Mesquite, Nevada. No services are planned at this time. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our "Memorial Guestbook" at www.virginvalleymorturay.com.
